Law Enforcement Requests

Information for authorized law enforcement agencies

Effective Date: October 27, 2026

1. Introduction

RA-DAR respects the lawful authority of government and law enforcement agencies while also protecting the privacy and security of its users.

This page provides information for authorized law enforcement officials seeking records or other assistance from RA-DAR in connection with a lawful investigation.

2. Requests for User Information

RA-DAR may receive requests for information relating to user accounts, activity, communications, or other records maintained by the platform.

RA-DAR reviews requests and responds in accordance with applicable law, valid legal process, and the rights and protections applicable to the requested information.

Requests should identify the specific account or information sought as clearly as possible.

Where applicable, identifying information may include a RA-DAR username, user ID, registered email address, profile URL, relevant date range, or other information that reasonably identifies the account.

3. Legal Process

The legal process required to obtain information may depend on the type of information requested, the nature of the investigation, and applicable law.

Depending on the circumstances, requests may require a subpoena, court order, search warrant, or other legally sufficient process.

RA-DAR may challenge, limit, or reject requests that are legally insufficient, overly broad, unclear, or otherwise not authorized by applicable law.

4. Preservation Requests

Law enforcement agencies may request preservation of information that is relevant to an official investigation.

Where applicable, RA-DAR will process preservation requests in accordance with applicable law and the requirements governing preservation of electronic records.

A preservation request does not necessarily require RA-DAR to disclose the preserved information. Disclosure may require separate valid legal process.

5. Emergency Requests

RA-DAR may review emergency requests involving circumstances where there is an imminent risk of death or serious physical injury and where information may be necessary to address the emergency.

Emergency requests should clearly explain the nature of the emergency, the person or persons at risk, the information requested, and why the information is needed without delay.

Emergency requests should be submitted only by authorized law enforcement officials or government authorities.

If there is an immediate threat to life or safety, authorities should also follow their applicable emergency procedures and contact the appropriate emergency services.

6. International Requests

RA-DAR may receive requests from law enforcement authorities located outside the United States.

International requests may be subject to applicable treaties, international cooperation procedures, letters rogatory, mutual legal assistance procedures, or other applicable legal mechanisms.

RA-DAR will evaluate international requests according to applicable law and the legal authority under which the request is submitted.

7. Account Security and User Privacy

RA-DAR takes reasonable measures to protect user accounts and information from unauthorized access.

RA-DAR does not provide user information simply because an individual or organization requests it. Requests for protected information must satisfy the applicable legal requirements.

Nothing on this page limits RA-DAR's ability to comply with lawful government requests or applicable legal obligations.

8. Scope of Information

The information maintained by RA-DAR may vary depending on the user's account, platform activity, technical systems, retention practices, and the period during which the information was created or maintained.

RA-DAR cannot provide information that it does not possess or that is no longer retained in its systems.

9. User Notification

Where legally permitted, RA-DAR may provide notice to an affected user when information relating to the user's account is requested by a government authority.

RA-DAR may withhold or delay notification when prohibited by law or when a valid legal order or other applicable legal authority prevents notification.

10. Requests for RA-DAR Assistance

Law enforcement officials seeking records or assistance should provide sufficient information to allow RA-DAR to identify the relevant account, investigation, legal authority, and information requested.
